Our Story

Experience

After studying a university degree in Fashion Communication and Applied Arts in Toronto, Canada, I have since been working in marketing; graphic and web design; sales and business management. A love of travel brought me to Australia where I made my home almost 20 years ago.

Working across a variety of industries

As a person who loves to learn new things, I have fulfilled this by working in many industries. Seeing as businesses in all industries need promotion and sales, this was fairly easy to do. Having worked in public education, retail, travel and tourism (sales and management), food and beverage (sales, manufacturing, wholesale and management) and management of a local, small business in the amusement industry has built a wide range of perspective. I have also volunteered in and sat on the committee of a few, local not-for-profit organisations.

Passion

I am passionate about keeping up-to-date with current trends and technologies and am always learning new techniques. This intrinsic drive helped me decided on the business name.

After moving to a 10-acre property in regional Australia and knowing how much bees help the environment, a bee hive was a must-have. I knew nothing about bee hives so I spent a lot of time researching. I gathered the equipment, kept the ants at bay and harvested honey.

The design process is similar. We discuss your needs and I gather the creative brief. Your design is mocked up and we discuss it to ensure that it is along the direction that you’re headed. With the right plan and implementation, you harvest the benefits of having a business that looks attractive, credible, professional and reflects the goals, priorities and culture of your business.

And so it began...

After working for others for 20+ years, I decided it’s time to take my talents and be creatively challenged. Work for a variety of clients instead of one organisation. Understand their needs in depth and suggest options that today’s consumer will connect with.

In late 2016, I took the leap, registered the business name and worked under the moonlight as I gained clients and built a portfolio. Luckily, I was still able to function well at my day job!

At the start of 2019, I excitedly launched into my full-time business and never looked back.

Creative, flexible and ready when you are

Today, as my business grows, I continuously welcome new clients. We meet, discuss, brainstorm and suggest. We formulate a plan and I get started. It’s an awesome process to take words, colour swatches and pencil lines and make them a real tangible asset that you will use.

Project management, administration and organisational skills are skills and values held near and dear to my heart so your project is completed within the agreed budget and timeline.

As I generally have a few projects on the go at one time, it is advisable to give a couple weeks’ notice to start your project, if possible. I try my best to fit in rushed projects but this is not always possible.

So now that you know a bit about me… I’d love to learn more about you and your upcoming project.
